Meet The Owners
OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE
The McGhee family joined the ECKC family no different than you; as parents searching for the right place to care for their child. We were looking for a childcare center that stood out from the rest that would provide a safe and positive environment for our then one year old son to attend. We were nervous about child care because Tenisha, co-owner, was a stay at-home mother for almost the first year of our son's life and we were new parents. We had inquired about several other centers, but on our tour through ECKC we knew immediately that this was the place for our child. After a year of our son attending and building a relationship with the staff and previous owner Dr. Wendy Gray-Hudnell, the center was entrusted to us and we assumed ownership of the center. This unique experience has given us insight into the child care industry now from both sides. We are extremely thankful for the opportunity to serve your children and help you feel safe with them in our care.
